I bought the Kindle for PC version, and have been disappointed in trying to find recipes because there is no index. The recipe section is shown in the Table of Contents, but you must scroll through them all to find the recipe you are interested in and then bookmark it. Additionally, I found it impossible to print off a recipe without copying and pasting into a word processing program. Even then, the formatting had to be corrected - a very tedious process. I do not like taking my tablet and cannot take my desktop into my kitchen so printed version of recipes are crucial for me. The other disappointment I had was that so many of the recipes are vegan. Reviews I'd read here and elsewhere seemed to indicate this was primarily a gluten-free cookbook. I am not a vegan so will have to chance using the recipes using normal ingredients. That said, there are good recommendations and links to more information and sources. The lifestyle information is interesting, the yoga sequences seem reasonable for those who physically capable of doing them and the author's message is inspiring, but a gluten-free, non-vegan cookbook it is not. It is one of the few cookbooks I've purchased that I wish I had not simply because it will have limited utility for me. I have applied for a refund.

The Gluten-Free Revolution is honestly one of the coolest books on healthy, gluten-free living out there. Many books claim to be focused on healthy eating and living, but fall quite far from the mark because they over-focus on lengthy, complicated recipes loaded with ultra-refined starches. Caroline Shannon-Karasik has found a way to present a clear, concise middle road that balances taste, whole foods and nutrition with the occasional treats everyone loves. And she's really honest with you about what a healthy lifestyle looks like because she lives it every day of her life. I love this book and I'm so glad that others will have the opportunity to learn from it as well!

The recipes in this cookbook are healthy and delicious. My favorite so far is the rainbow quinoa salad.
I am looking forward to trying many more of the recipes. This book gives recipes for natural beauty products as well and would be helpful for someone just started.

I love the book because it truly feels like "A Balanced Guide". Balance is in the author's recipes, in her suggestions and in her encouragements. She is passionate about her decisions, tells her story and then permits the reader to take what they like, leave the rest and make progress in his or her own personal journey towards health. Yummy and inspiring!

I just read this book cover to cover. I love how accessible the author makes living a healthy, gluten free lifestyle is in the book. As someone who isn't gluten free, I appreciated that I could make so many of these recipes with things already in my pantry. This book has inspired me to add more gluten free recipes and products into my everyday life :). Beautiful pictures, great tips and a lovely voice, I highly recommend this book.
