I downloaded a copy of Mellissa's book and I certainly am not disappointed. If you are after a book that has wonderful photographs, easy to make and recipes that you want to make and eat, then this is the book for you. We started on the Primal journey in March 2012 and haven't looked back. I remember early on in this journey trying to find a recipe that could be a replacement for mashed potatoes. And I stumbled across her blog - I breath......I'm hungry. She had the best recipe for mashed cheesy cauliflower. The family weren't a big fan of it at the start (I LOVED IT) but now it is a staple. I have made several of her recipes from her blog (some of which are in this book) and again have not been disappointed. So many of them can be mixed up a little and add your own favourite flavours. I adore recipes like that.

So if you want a book that will entice you into the kitchen, to make amazing things to eat then get this book and check out her blog, she's on G+, Twitter and Facebook too.

I've bought lots of low carb recipe books, this is by far the best. Easy to follow recipes, well explained and fantastic photos! I would recommend this book for anyone following or considering starting a low carb lifestyle.

I follow Melissa's blog and love the recipes there. This cookbook has even more great recipes. I've tried a few already and they've come out great! Can't wait to try the pie crust recipe.

I've been a diet controlled diabetic for a couple years now. During that time I gave up just about everything I enjoyed to keep my numbers within range and stay off meds. I'm pretty lazy and frugal when it comes to experimenting with foods so I need easy, frugal, tasty, low carb recipes or I'm not interested. After purchasing Melissa's book I can once again eat the most delicious dishes ... including cake! Yes cake, with frosting, for only 4.5 net carbs. I'm not talking a teeny bite of cake or a see-through sliver;I'm talking a big hunk of the most delicious, moist, flavorful, wonderful, easy and FUN to make cake. The recipes in this book are easy with step by step instructions and the most gorgeous, clear photos. If you want some fresh, new, delicious Low Carb recipes (a must for diabetics) then you want this book. You may also want to visit Melissa's blog to enjoy her humor and pick up even more fantastic Low Carb or Diabetic Friendly recipes. Just google "I breathe, I'm Hungry" and you should be able to find her.

Been following Melissa Sevigny's blog with her wonderful recipes of which I've made several so it was a no-brainer to buy the book.

Sevigny's recipes have been time-tested and tweaked to make them easy to prepare and delicious for everyone. I like that she is able to pull from a standard base of ingredients without resorting to exotic hard to get items.

I had others ask about the delicious 'Better than Potatoes' Cheesy Cauliflower Puree which I brought to a Thanksgiving dinner. I have low net-carb flax crust pizza at least once a week and enjoyed flax crackers. Hoping to make more of the recipes as I've dropped 45 pounds eating low-carb the past eight months and now with this book I can expand what I can cook and eat.

I love to cook and like a good cook Sevigny is like a mad-scientist figuring out her delicious dishes.

This cookbook has so many amazing ideas!
The crackers have been a lifesaver, and the cauliflower is perfect!
I must thank the author for all the work she has done developing these recipes.
I'm going to make a huge bag of crackers for my daugther to take back to college.
She is allergic to gluten, and is so happy she can have hummus with crackers now!!

I purchased this book after reading about it on Melissa's blog, 'I Breathe...I'm Hungry'. 'The Gluten Free Low Carber' is full of delicious, easy to make, good for you recipes. I no longer have an excuse as to why I can't stick to my diet. Melissa has made it easy. The Breakfast Lasagna, Fried Pork Chops w/Orange Sauce, Brazilian Chicken Pies, YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! You won't regret purchasing this book.

Very entertaining and infomative read. Mellissa's photography is stunning and the recipes are all really appealing. I've made a number of them with great results.
A great resource for low carb/gluten free homemade meals.
