This is an excellent book for the first year of an international relations and politics degree. A good starting point during research over all 3 years of an undergraduate degree.
Everything is clearly presented and brings clarity to complex issues. This book is an excellent starting point for research before spending hours going through academic journals.
This book also comes with internet resources. Access is only for 3 years. However, the case studies posted can come in useful when essay writing but I have yet to use them except for rare occassions.
I do wish this book had been recommended at the start of first semester.

This textbook has nothing special, no massively in-depth theories or revelationary ideas, but it covers all the basics of international relations and covers them all superbly. Read more

Decent introduction
A decent enough introduction to the major issues in IR, but no more. That said, it does provide a good starting point for any student of this discipline.

Complex
I'm currently studying on this book for my 1st international relations exam and it's not very easy to understand if you are not used to the politics terminology.
