A favourite book for a three-year-old and a four and a half year old, who participate fully in the story. They take turns in listing off all the animals and while I'm reading they're busy checking which animals are about to appear on the next page. The big heave-ho for the turnip has them fully involved and all the activity in the book makes it a great daytime read.

A lovely illustrated book with easy to read text, for parents or children. The story is not too long either and makes a great bedtime book. For the child reader it isn't too long either, so they don't get fed up before they get to the end. I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter and she loved it.

Ha, This book is hilarious. My littlest (2 years) loves the animals and the big one (4) loves reciting each page. This book wonderfully crosses over the age difference between my two gils and gives me the opportunity for lots of silly voices. The CD is very irritating tho.
