Product Description

Product Description

Alice, who was a mere teenager when she was murdered, has returned in spectral form to prevent further brutal killings.

For that she needs a living accomplice, a role the 21 year old Paul Lambert steps into with some trepidation. Having been clairvoyant all his life, he is used to dealing with ghosts, but this one is particularly driven and also exceptionally beautiful and seductive, so he is soon doing her bidding to a much greater extent than he ever intended.

However, in time it becomes apparent that Alice is working to quite a different agenda from the one she is laying out before Paul. It isn't just a case of his disinterring her rotting body and fingering her killer, not by any means.

For a start, there is a vengeful maniac who has to be stopped she hasn't quite got round to mentioning yet. Then there is the fact that she isn't the only ghost with an attitude out a-haunting either.

Love, death and the supernatural: it's going to be quite a summer.

About the Author

5.0 out of 5 stars If you love ghost stories .... 29 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Paul is a psychic medium who sees ghosts. Whilst on holiday he befriends a ghost called Alice and they fall in love. Alice convinces him that she was murdered by her father and she will lead him to where her body is buried.
So begins the best ghost story I have read in a long time. As the plot thickens other bodies of young females are exposed by Alice and it all leads towards a serial killer, but the question is who?
I'm very happy to not only give this 5 stars but to recommend it as a modern day Ghostbusters. Enjoy whether you're into ghosts or not. You will definitely not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars A tale of life and love before and after death 24 Jan 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Paul, a somewhat reluctant clairvoyant psychic, is on holiday in France with his parents and his brother Mike.

He meets a group of people who congregate at the local chateau; the Earl & Countess of Affligem, Fiona, gay lovers John & Peter whose father thinks he is a descendant of the Romanovs, Inspector John a retired policeman and Sarah who is so unattainable it seems obvious to everyone except Mike who is pursuing her.

Then random body parts start appearing in Inspector John's garden.

Paul meets Alice; the ghost of a girl who was murdered and she draws him into helping her avenge her death. In the course of events traces of a more horrible crime are revealed and Paul is drawn further in when he meets the resident ghosts of the chateau who just want peace and quiet instead of the constant party atmosphere.

This book gripped my attention and held it til the end. The ending is unexpected and the complicated relationships and paranormal skullduggery make it well worth a look. Tim Roux's easy to read style just adds to the panache and finesse of a good story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ghostly goings-on 14 Jan 2012

I'm not a believer in ghosts but this story was about so much more than ghosts. The characters were realistic and each contributed to the various plots making a very readable and interesting book.
