Fascinating, informative with beautiful pictures. 17 Jan 2012

As the owner of a GSD from puppyhood, this book is my authoritative guide. From thinking about choosing a puppy, training and socialisation to moving accounts of the GSD's bravery and stunning imagery throughout, this book is a heavyweight 278 page manual which will be well thumbed throughout the life of your dog. The price is justified as you will not need any further books to supplement it. The photos are full colour, with several gorgeous full page images. Written with great warmth and extremely well researched, this book provides a comprehensive guide for all owners of this 'Noble Breed', even when they are slightly more dippy than noble, as in my dog's case!
