About the Author
Rosemary Alexander is the Principal of The English Gardening School based in the Chelsea Physic Garden in London. She is also a highly successful garden designer with an international practice. Richard Sneesby is a landscape gardener and lecturer on garden design at The English Gardening School. The English Gardening School was founded in 1983 by Rosemary Alexander. It provides an unrivalled range of professional and amateur courses concentrating mainly on the more serious aspects of gardening. Its distance learning courses span more than 20 different countries and its historic Chelsea Physic Garden base attracts diploma course students from all over the world.

The Garden Maker's Manual is a must have for amateurs, rusty professionals, DIY enthusiasts or students who want to make a good job of garden design. Together with the Essential Garden Design work book, there is everything you need (except the get up and go) to draw up some very practical and beautiful garden plans. Easy to follow, perfect for dipping into and really nicely presented books. A real find.
