Book Description

1 May 2009
Foo and Friends Series: What are your lawn and garden ornaments up to when no one is looking? If they hold magical spirits like most gnomes, angels, gargoyles, and foo dogs, you can bet it's something pretty important. Join Foo and his Friends on some of their important adventures as they help keep our neighborhoods safe and in tip-top shape. For read aloud and early chapter readers ages 6+. The Garage Sale: Bad news has fallen on the neighborhood: Some of the Friends are going to be sold in a big garage sale. Foo Magic doesn't really work to solve problems like this, so a midnight meeting is definitely called for. But as the Friends work on a plan to save Henrietta (the plastic owl), will they also have time to save a turtle sandbox named Ruben? More panic erupts when Gilbert, the wire reindeer, also gets added to the list of For-Sale items. Can it be stopped, or is it meant to be? And will the neighborhood ever be the same again?

5.0 out of 5 stars Young Reader Story Full of Charm 7 July 2009
Format:Paperback
This chapter story is geared to very young readers. The characters are very charming in personality and actions. The drama of the book centers around some of the magical lawn ornaments getting put in a rummage sale. The magic of the Foo dog doesn't really work to solve real problems, therefore, a brainpower solution is called for. This isn't high action adventure but it is a very suitable and charming story for young readers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Foo is Fun 7 Jun 2009
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
My brother liked this book when we read it together. He liked the flamingo alot because we have a lady down the street with them in her yard. He knows about squirrels and racoons like that are in this book,,but he does not know about foo dogs. That's because they don't really exist except that they are statues. This foo dog is like the other statues in this book and he comes to life. We had fun when we read this, and I think my brother wants to read this again.
