Format:Hardcover
A nice book with mostly digital art all in colour.
Personally I would have liked some more non-digital art but the title say it all:
it's about the future.
A word of warning:I also bought"erotic fantasy art volume 2."
This has exactly the same contents as the above book.

Don't judge a book by it's cover 19 Feb 2012
By Lizzie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
The cover of this book does NOT represent the artistic talent contained in it's fascinating pages. I'm not sure why they chose the weakest image in the collection for the front, but it's a shame. I think many people will glance at the cover and not bother picking it up because of it-- the UK version has a brilliant piece on the cover.

Despite the cover, there are so many amazing pieces in this book. Well known established artists as well as up and comings in the genre fill the pages. The works are imaginative and well executed- and anyone who has a complaint about the anatomy must have missed the "FANTASY" in The Future of Erotic FANTASY Art. That's the point it doesn't have to be based in reality- that's what makes it Fantasy.

If you enjoyed it's predecessor "Erotic Fantasy Art" you can rest easy - because this book follows in the same vein and is full of stunning erotic works that are evocative and full of creativity and imagination.

The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is because of that cover piece- when you look through the book itself you'll understand why. It just does not stand up to the quality and beauty of the rest of the images.

If you want a peek inside of the book to see for yourselves- the UK version has several images available for view - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Erotic-Fantasy-Art-Paul-Peart-Smith/dp/1907579842 It's titled "Erotic Fantasy Art: Vol II"

Packed with artwork 9 Jan 2012
By robocat - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
If this is the future of erotic fantasy art , then the future is definitely bright ! This book is packed with artwork ! What I enjoyed most about this book , is that the artwork was printed in such excellent vivid full color pages . I loved all the styles of artwork the book includes , from talented newcomers to accomplished professionals such as Matt Dixon , Paul Abrams , Daniela Uhlig , some of my personal favorites . The book ranges from traditional art to poser renderings in tasteful erotic fantasy poses . The author has put together everything from meticulously detailed illustrations to vividly fluid paintings of erotic fantasy beauties . The comments on each piece of artwork were very interesting but just a bit too brief , I would have liked to have read more about each of the artist . About the only thing I did not like about this book , is the cover art . There are so many great pieces of artwork in the book that would have made a much stronger cover . If you love erotic fantasy art , you will definitely enjoy this book .

Awful 31 Jan 2012
By Kristin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Sadly, the future of erotic art seems to be full of horribly mutated, deformed women. Either that or it simply doesn't include basic anatomy knowledge. Either way, a tragedy.
