Having laughed hysterically at, and in turn been emotionally moved by the film of this screenplay, I was interested to read the script to understand how the writer's creation had been interpreted and developed into the blockbuster it became. Short but sweet introductions by both writer and producer provide a taste of how the film came about.
But whether you're interested in that side of things, or if you simply saw the film and loved it, the book makes for great reading, telling a good story in a simple, enjoyable way.

A very good script of a very good film. Promises many deleted scenes, but contains hardly any extra material. Well worth reading.
