From the Back Cover

Trapped on the upper floors of an under-construction high rise. Dr. Richard Kimble knows there is no way out. Lt. Philip Geraerd, who's tracked Kimble from Chicago to sunny Miami, is simply too tough, too smart, too close. But suddenly, as Kimble stares at the barrel of Gerard's pistol, the doctor ups the stakes. He plunges headlong from the building, hoping the construction netting many levels below will somehow hold.

This was first shown on the tv but sadly they havn't put the whole series on the dvd. But it is still really good. Tim Daly plays the fugitive and does it very well, just as good as David Jansen maybe even better! I hope one day the will put the whole series on dvd, as it is excellent! A VERY Exciting film!

This is the pilot episode of the new TV series of The Fugitive.
It is every bit as good as the original series, if not better, and this pilot episode perfectly sets up viewing the rest of the 24 episodes in the series.
Dont expect it to be anything like the 1993 film of the same title, and at the same time, I would not recommend watching this if you do not intend watching the rest of the series, as this episode ends with the story just beginning. However, this is a good piece of TV-film, and worth every minute of viewing - good plot, good acting, and great action. Once you watch this, you will be begging for the next 24 episodes in the series!

The description of this 'film' is ambiguous. The chase does not, in fact, continue. It re-runs the original plot - with different and very good stunts - fairly closely. It is a pilot for a new TV series, and a good example of its own genre; disappointing if you are expecting a film with an end to its plot.
