If people thought that B Boying aka Breakdancing was just some fad then think again!! This totally brilliant documentry traces the history of this mind blowing dance form from its beginning in the bronx in New york City to the world wide phenomenon that it is today. See and hear members of Rock Steady Crew New York City Breakers Style Elements and hip hop legends Kool DJ Herc Africa Bambattaa fab 5 Freddy KRS One and many more tell their side of the story The dancing in this dvd is mind blowing watch this dvd and you will know what I mean its incredible!!. This dvd is worth its price there is so much cool stuff on ths dvd. The extras are awesome specially the battle between Renegades and stylelements and the music videos photo gallery and much more here it is for the very first time the history of the most incredible dance in the world these are the freshest kids thank you amazon co. uk!! I did a project on B boying a few years ago and I won the competiton to do the best project in my class I wish this had been out then!! I could have done a lot more to it this is the real story of the B Boy get it!! now!

A true and inspirational representation of the B-Boy phenomenon that continues to grow. The old school footage sends you waaaay back. Look out for Kool Herc and his two storey high speakers in the back seat of his convertible. So good to see again. Some stuff I'd never seen too. Great perspectives from the new school B-Boys and B-Girls too. Best of all was the absence of bitter B-Boys. Total respect to Israel (the film-maker) and the entire crew who put it together. Here's to the next 30 years.

An informative, entertaining and very well produced movie exploring the birth and rise, then decline and rise again of "Break Dancing" or B-Boying as it was originally known.
But dont be misled by it being a film about dancing, because in showing us this, it also charts the birth of Hip Hop..........amazingly so beacuase in this day and age, when we think of Hip Hop we think of Rap. This was not always so, originally the Rappers were very much in the background of the DJs and the B Boys.
At times, totally poignent and moving, a brilliant movie about no hope kids from ghettos who created an art form that would eventually conquer the world !!!........if you are into Hip Hop in any way you should watch this and educate yourself.

BBoying is something that is very much present in our society at the moment. With this video you get the basic explanation of breakin' history (which is also written in the box). I recommend this video to anyone that would like to get a main picture about the development of Hip Hop culture - especially bboyin.

I am very satisfied with my order - it came at the aproximate time and is in good condition.
