Product Description

Two campers Sharon and Teddy are terrorized in the deep dark woods of the California wilderness by a cannibalistic knife-wielding madman. Teddy is killed but Sharon manages to escape. That same night their boyfriends, Steve and Charlie, take refuge in an old cave to protect themselves from the storm. There they meet the killer an old man wearing a beat up old baseball cap named John. He tells them the story of how he walked in on his unfaithful wife and her lover. He killed them both, and gathered his two children and ran off into the forest. Unfortunately, his kids got sick and they committed suicide. Since then, he has developed a taste for human flesh and will kill anybody who trespasses on his territory. The next morning, Charlie is drowned and prepared for the killer's breakfast. He then goes looking for Sharon, who has, unbeknownst to him, teamed up with the ghosts of his two dead children. The maniac chases Sharon but just as he's about to kill her his ghost kids save her...

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheesy but pretty scary! 27 Feb 2014
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Even though this is a VHS copy, this film contains all of the bits that were not in the VHS version of this film. Even though it has no known actors,it is still a good enough mild horror film, slightly different from the teenage slasher films that are widely available these days.I had the old VHS film, now retired(like the remaining VHS films that I have!) and am now looking through them to see if they are available on DVD. Another excellent sale and delivery! Thanks to all at Amazon UK!

2.0 out of 5 stars You can't judge a film by the cover 13 Nov 2007
This is a bad movie. I would have given it 1 star but and loath to as it is low budget and to knock off stars seems a bit harsh.

The plot involves bad acting a actor is a lizard costume killing a bunch of friends. Throw in a dodgy doctor and some silly plot twists and you get a duff film.
I spent £1 on this in W H Smiths thinking it can't be that bad (it was).
You can't judge a film by the cover, the cover is great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fair Warning 30 Dec 2012
There are a few well known faces in this movie and the marketing is quite well placed. It seems like a solid (if unoriginal) plot and at the time I purchased this DVD there were no really bad reviews. However, the production is so amateurish, the dialogue so strained and the acting so wooden that this film does not even merit the price of the postage. We could not even watch this movie all the way through. I am only writing this review because I rely quite a lot on customer reviews and the absence of ones for this film lead to a very poor purchase on my part. I think that there are a number of films available on Amazon with a similar plot which are considerably more watchable and I would recommend you consider these first.
