The plot and the comedy are top class but the picture quality is nowhere near the standard of the Laurel and Hardy box set, it is pretty poor. I nearly used another word, funnily enough also starting with the letter `p`. I don`t know where the deluxe bit comes into it, unless they mean it was washed in Lux. Older readers will know what I mean.

A classic Laurel and Hardy film from 1931.
Stan and Ollie join the French Foreign Legion so Ollie can forget his lost love, thus begins one of the hapless duos most entertaining films.
I won't give more of the plot away - recommended to all lovers of vintage comedy. Superb value for money.
