This is a really valuable and interesting book, worth reading whether you're visiting the countries discussed but definitely useful if you live or visit London, New York, Paris or Stockholm. It explains a lot about the 'unwritten rules' of each society and how to get by there. The fact that Jean has interviewed so many people and gathered so much information makes it honest and reliable, and it's really interesting to see how different people view the stereotypes and gender rules in their city. The comparison of different cities through the eyes of varies themes, such as alcohol, physical preferences and unwritten rules, highlights a lot of important differences between each culture. Definitely useful for someone who isn't sure when to start when looking for love, as a lot of these 'unwritten rules' aren't obvious and it's good to be 'in the know'!

Well written and worth reading, if you're single and want a bit of advice then this book is a must-read.

This book is so useful! Ms Smith's knowledge of the human psyche and behaviour not only from a professional but also from a personal perspective, is enlightening. She's definitely my first point of call for all matters relational! I work as an osteopath, yoga and Pilates teacher and encounter, in my patients, many relationship issues manifesting themselves in injury and discomfort in the physical body. Now I have a resource for those patients who need a guide as to how to step into who they are and attract a loving partner. I will be recommending this to patients and friends alike and have taken some notes to use for myself!

If you are a single girl in London, as I am, this book is a must have. The Flirt Interpreter answers so many questions that I have always asked myself about attraction between men and women. Jean Smith's insight is tremendous and she delivers the information with skill and wit. I can't wait to put a few of Jean's tips to the test. Girls, make sure you tell your single girlfriends and boyfriends to read this book.

An entertaining and insightful read, into a topic we think we all know something off. It has emboldened me to go out and have a go at flirting again. As many of the interviewed say, it's fun. This book covers points of views from both sexes with out predudish. As society get more cosmopolitain it's handy to know what can be expected in todays ever changing social exchanges. A very enjoyable book.
