Could it be that Magic is real and the "real world" isn't real at all?
Davey Kelly, student of physics, has successfully measured Magic and freed the Dragon Thomas from his imprisonment in a statue. That's what he was supposed to do, Right? But to his suprise the story is not over nor is his quest to save Magicdom.
Davey is swept up in the much bigger quest to get the Dragon and Amulet to the Himself, King of the Leprechauns, and rekindle the Flame of Magic despite a relently onslaught from the evil Goblinbats. At the same time Davey must learn how to be a Leprechaun, the protocol of being a Prince and a leader of over more than a dozen Magical races, and a leader in battle. And who better to teach him that a band of Pirates!
The Magic created by the Davey and Tessa is allowing more and more Magicals to be freed and as they join the figtht a whole new world is opening up before Davey and Tessa. Magical creatures of every sort are joining the quest. The life and death of each of them depends on getting the Dragon and the Amulet to Himself before the Flame goes out.
But all is not well in Magicdom. Davey can sense it.
Meanwhile the Goblins are far from defeated as they regroup with the aim of destroying Davey, Thomas and all of Magicdom with a secret weapon.
Despite being in a fight for his life, Davey's scientific mind just can't shake the questions that he keeps asking himself.
