Not the best bouncer 17 Sep 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase
This bouncer is first of all made of cotton, so it gets really manky, really fast.
It's not "middle balanced", so my son hung facedown in it a lot.
Straps are hard and in the way of his arms.
The gap between the legs is very wide, so he can't really jump.
Not much suspension in the spring, so there is not much bouncing.
I give it one star because it's cute and works as an indoor swing.

bad buy 8 Mar 2010
Asked for a bouncer for christmas and my mum bought us this one which looked really nice. Unfortunately it was awful trying to even get my baby into it and worse to get him out. He really cried. I keep trying him with it from 4 months and he's now 7 months. He slumps forward in it, he doesn't bounce but just swings as it's really stiff. it's also very noisy when you manually bounce it with your arm. the only positive is that it feels safe in terms of the mechanism that holds onto the door frame but i would steer well clear.

An average bouncer 29 Dec 2009
I bought my 9 month old daughter this bouncer for xmas to encourage her to use her legs more as she is becoming very active and trying to stand. Although she enjoys having time in it I have a couple of concerns with the product.

Firstly, the seat is not centre balanced meaning she leans forward a lot of the time, she weighs approx 18 lbs at the moment so I would be concerned when she gets towards the upper weight limit of her toppling out whilst she was bouncing.

Secondly, there is little actual movement in the spring mechanism even when her father bounces her, on her own she seemed unable to get going a lot of the time.

I wouldn't say this is a bad product, it's well made; the door clamp fitting is very secure and as it requires no actually permanent fixture can be moved around easily. The straps are secure and the seat is deep, coming up to my daughters chest, she appears to be quite comfortable in it.

I'm giving this product 2 stars as on the few occasions it has worked properly my daughter has loved it and for that reason we will persevere with it and it also makes a nice indoor swing. I would shop around first though if you're looking for a bouncer as I'm sure there are better ones out there.
