I've read quite a few reviews of this DVD on a number of different sites and so far every reviewer has given this DVD top marks. After doing this DVD I decided to write a review giving top marks too.
Tight Buns and Killer Legs is a 30 minute lower body workout presented by Kelsie Daniels and is the first DVD I've done in a long time which has made me consider going with the beginner's modifications. This is hard but in a really good way. After a five minute warm up Kelsie moves into the workout which really works your lower body. Beginners are advised to follow Sue Mi who does not use weights, everyone else should have some medium and heavy weights to use. Kelsie moves throught a series of weighted sections which she breaks up with short bursts of cardio. In the weighted sections you'll be doing moves such as the curtsey dip (an absolute killer), knee lifts, squats and glute lifts. The moves are first done in a basic way and then variations and extra moves are brought in. Cardio includes jumping jacks, a hopscotch move and high knee lifts.
Kelsie goes through the moves quickly and I couldn't believe how fast the 30 minutes passed by. My legs were shaking at the end of the workout and for the rest of the day I could feel that my legs and behind had had a good workout. This DVD really works you hard and you'll definitely be sweating at the end of it. I noticed a difference in my legs after just a few workouts with this and it's definitely a great addition to my other exercise DVDs. Some of the moves may seem tricky the first time you do the DVD and you may have to watch the segment then rewind and have a go but persevere with it and you're bound to see results.
