i ordered this ages ago and have only got round to using it, and i wish i started earlier! along with this ball (for beginners and i found it just right!) you get a dvd to go with it which is just 30 mins long which sold it for me, as i thought i could tone up after work between dinner and bedtime without it using up my whole evening.

theres alot of toning and squats but not enough for you to go weak at the knees altough i do feel it today, but not so much that i cant move. it also involved some cardio which i found extremley easy to pick up. it certainly upped my heart rate and by the end of a mere 30 mins, i was sweating more than i ever have done, doing any form of exercise! like all the firms dvds, they guarantee results after doing it 10 times- and i can see why!!!

if youve used a few dvds before and know what words like lunges, squats and grapevine are, youll have no probs picking this up but even if you dont after a few goes, you wouldnt find it a problem.

the instructor isnt well known and the music isnt chart music, but its certainly not as cheesy as some dvds! besides, your too busy concentrating on lifting the ball!

considering its only a tenner for the dvd and ball, it only lasts 30 mins and they say you can se results in 10 work outs, give it a go!! ill certainly be keeping it up! i also bought their pilates dvd which comes with a thick band which ill be trying tonight, and i have also put some "the firm" dvds in my wish list, some of which are again 30 mins, to fit in nicely with my working week

hope this helps and good luck!

The sculpting ball is great much easier to handle than dumbells - at 8lbs the weight was a bit too heavy to begin with i should have got the 6lb but thats my own fault!!
As for the DVD, i thought it was a great full-body workout and in 30minutes :-) routine was fast but easy to follow, plenty of squats and lunges with bicep and tricep curls...moves were pretty straightforward nothing too complicated (grapevine, jumpin jacks, samba move...) i was sweating after the first 10 minutes!!! Abs section at the end was good - standing twists with the ball then floor work (bit short though i'd do it twice)...then some nice stretches at the end! Great value for money, only 30minutes of your time, i'll definately keep using it!!

UPDATE: still using dvd, still sweating...seeing results :)

I have just used this sculpting ball and dvd for the first time today. I absolutely loved it. I found the exercises challenging and different so the 30 minutes went so quickly. The instructor is really easy to follow and the cardio moves are simple so you can concentrate on proper form. The only problem I have got is that I have the 4lb ball which is a bit too light for me but I still feel like I have had a great workout.

I bought this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It's fun, easy to follow and best of all, its only 30 minutes long.

I find that it is a great work out as it makes you sweat (a lot!) and I can back them up when they say you get results in 10 uses! it really works (I use it roughly every 3 days). The 6lb ball is the perfect weight as well.

The ball is quite heavy for use by the beginning. The exercise video is quite good but the pace is a little to fast to follow. I have developed my own routine. Also because you get quite sweating during the routine the ball is difficult to hold.
