This movie, based on the book by Woodward & Bernstein, is an excellent overview of the last months of the Nixon presidency. Nathan Lane is a great look alike of Nixon. The conversations are good and well chosen.
David Ogden Stiers is (however a little bulky) a good General Haig. In all a very good movie.

The DVD was bought for me as a present whilst I recovered from surgery and I have to say it was gripping from beginning to end. I think it would help if you have an interest in American politics but the film gave a very deep idea of what went on at the time.
EXCELLENT!

Not a great movie by any means - barely a good one - but really the only movie truly about Watergate. It's fairly undramatic and it's shot like a TV movie but much of the cover-up is documented. ( And not overdramatised like that compulsive liar Oliver Stone did his Nixon film.)
I recommend this to Watergate buffs. However, if you are new to this political scandal, I recommend the Watergate VHS box set. It's a co-production of BBC and America's discovery channel.

Format: DVD
Very turgid re-telling of the final period of Nixon's corrupt administration. No sense of drama or importance, but more a chance for actors to play dressing up. A sad reflection on a highly intelligent book by Woodward and Bernstein.
Stick to Oliver Stone's "Nixon" for an insightful and , contrary to some impressions, a sympathetic look at this deeply flawed man and President.

A good film, based on the book of the same name by Woodward and Bernstein. Lane Smith gives an outstanding performance as Nixon. A fine supporting cast also results in an better understanding of the final days of the Nixon Presidency.
