this book starts off well, with a colourful cover, but sadly when you open it it is very dull.produced,as it says,to be an accompaniment to their film.it is full of photos from the film and written as if it were the script,(transcript).its just another needless book on the sex pistols.buy the video and enjoy, and be happy not to own the book

Nothing really new here

Besides a few new photos, there is really nothing new. England's dreaming or Rotton's Book do a much better job.

Pretty much another rehash

There is only so much you can write about the whole Pistols lore. As the number of books written about the Pistols increases, the material contained within remains the same or in some cases diminishes.
If you've never read anything by Savage or Lydon or even Monk/Guterman, then this would be a fairly enjoyable read. If you have read those authors then this tome contains nothing you've not already read.

Great book, free of media input

The best thing about this book was the fact that it was entirely derived from members of the Sex Pistols, and a few from Sid's girlfriend, Nancy Spungen. Read it for a candid view of the brief career of the Sex Pistols told by the band members, and not some journalist or corrupted media person.
