Interesting book 2 Nov. 2010
By Bob - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Wonderful book with excellent photos. If you are looking for a technical book about Ferrari this is not the book for you. If you want to pick up a simple read with a lot of photos than this is the book for you.

An outstanding pick for any auto buff's collection 20 April 2010
By Midwest Book Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
The Ferrari Phenomenon: An Unconventional View of the World's Most Charismatic Cars provides an outstanding pictorial and historical survey of Ferrari, covering not only the cars they fostered but the family name, pop culture, and mystery surrounding them. The Ferrari Phenomenon offers a focus on Enzo Ferrari's life, facts about cars and historic races, and packs in photos of the Ferrari factor and its history. An outstanding pick for any auto buff's collection.

Bit Shallow ... in a pretty wrap. 9 May 2013
By Olaf Wernicke - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
It was said before and I can confirm: " ... this book lacks any context. It's simply a collection of unrelated factoids. It feels like it's been thrown together - quickly - from news articles and a few personal observations."

No awesome / new car pictures. No technical details. "No meat, just feathers"

Tabloid's stuff. ... in an expensive wrap.

Beautiful rendering of history and speed! 28 Nov. 2013
By Kathleen H. Witsil - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
Great easy read! Wonderful photos and the perspective of an automotive journalist that admires but doesn't protect the reader from the truth of a family run business
