Have only skimmed through as it's a gift for an Irish friend but looks really funny to me and I hope she agrees!

Just really great fun, interesting and informative with a great sense of humour. Read book in a couple of hours and it made me want to delve a lot deeper into the history of Ireland

This book covers lots of the politics of ireland and who was in power, the wars etc in a humorous way.
However there is little to do with inventions, culture, art, food etc.
Not bad.... but not good

Br-r-r-r-r-illiant Blooming Brilliant 'Exactly what it says on the tin' - I have bought 5 of this feckin' collection for Christmas - This one I bought for "History loving Friend" I have had a sneak glimpse through all of them as I intend to wrapped them in plain brown paper and put a number on each one. I have put corresponding numbers inside each of 5 Christmas Crackers - and you guessed it!!!
I Know we will have a wonderful giggly Christmas Afternoon.
