The favour men are awesome! I'm in love :D this book was amazing. I read the whole thing in one day, could only put it down to eat in between chapters. Great and colourful characters with strong dialogue, funny at times and heart stopping at others. The relationships between the characters, especially the three main brothers make the interactions a delight to read. The author has a way of making even the not-so-main characters unique, and when they get hurt, you feel it, and a hell of an ending, it just got more and more intense. I can't wait for the next one. And reading the short stories on the website after was icing on the cake, I hope they keep coming too.

Charlie, Jake and Harry are the "favour men." They settle scores and make things right in a world that can be so wrong. However, it's never really simple, is it? "Doing a favour for somebody sometimes meant doing the opposite for somebody else." Ah, yes ... and there's the rub.

The three young men are very likeable characters - and you get to know them very well. They have a strong sense of themselves, and an even stronger sense of right and wrong. But sometimes there are shades of gray in life and sometimes lines are crossed. As this action-packed story moves forward, the gray becomes more pronounced and the lines become nonexistent.

Firas Janabi's writing is crisp and vivid. He doesn't waste time pulling you into the world of the "favour men" ... to the point where it's difficult to put the book down. It's a roller coaster ride from start to finish and sometimes the dark edges make you wonder just how much farther Charlie, Jake and Harry will go.

Spiked with just the right bit of humor (to soften those dark edges), "The Favour Men" is a book you'll want to read again. You certainly won't forget it.

I found out about this book because it was a sponsor on iwearyourshirt.com. I downloaded it, and read it when I had time. It turned out to be so intense and intriguing that I chose to read more of it instead of getting sleep for school the next day! Firas combines all the elements perfectly to create a truly amazing book. I can't wait for next books in the series to come out. Highly recommended read!
