Great book for anyone who loves making things and finding out the limitations of different fabrics you have or helping you choose to buy. The book is set out by what you want to achieve with the fabric, i.e fluidity or structure and then talks about the different fabrics available, explaining why different fabrics behave differently. The book also has lots of picture of the fabric before and after it has been made into a garment, which is really useful.
I love this book and I find myself simply reading it whenever I quickly flip through for reference. I find it interesting to know how the different production methods will impact on how the final material behaves. I was also pleased to find it has some fabrics that I wouldn't even though of such as those that are suitable for sportswear and fabrics for a quilted affect.
