Product Description

Farming in the Sixties is becoming a science, but the new hand on Doorstop Farm lacks qualifications as far as the explosive, hard-drinking Farmer Johnson is concerned. Although Tom seems a bit slow, hired at her suggestion, Mrs Johnson finds young Tom well up to the mark. She soon discovers a use for him alleviating the pressure of milk over-production after she breastfeeds her baby. But she has other plans for the inexperienced lad. After a close call relieving Tom’s pressure in the cowshed, she decides to delay further adventures with the new lad until her husband is away at market. But come market day, farmer Johnson returns unexpectedly...

Kinky and unusual 28 Oct 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I very much enjoyed this short tale of a farmer and his errant wife. The sexual action between the wife and her young lover is well-written and highly arousing, and there's a dramatic moment - which I won't spoil by spelling out - where the farmer loses his cool over his wife's infidelity and you suddenly fear it's going to become a very different sort of book.

There's all kinds of nice, unusual kink in this book, and an old-fashioned feel to the writing. It sticks in the mind after you've finished. I haven't given it five stars as I would have liked to see the farmer and his wife more sexually entwined, though I suppose it's that brand of erotica where the husband as 'observer' is being flagged up.

But I'd recommend it if you're looking for erotica which is not too long, a little bit different, and fairly engaging to read.

I've read a number of stories by Roger Frank Selby and they've all made quite an impression on me. I know I can trust him to tickle my fancy and I wasn't disappointed by this entertaining farmyard romp.

Although it's a straightforward tale of bawdy behaviour down on the farm, there is a fair bit of psychological subtlety to it. The characters have some depth and, as the plot unfolds, they each change and grow in some way. The dialogue is expertly handled and the structure of the story is carefully planned, so that everything pops up or pops out at just the right moment, providing you with maximum entertainment.

It's a very satisfying read, with some mouth-watering imagery that will please you in all sorts of ways. I'm pretty sure the author takes a lot of pleasure and pride in his work and rightly so. It's a feel-good story with an upbeat ending that manages at the same time to touch upon some very ticklish subjects.

I'm looking forward to what he comes up with next.

A sad story 25 Nov 2011
By Camo J
Format:Kindle Edition
I think this is a rather sad story. The only fluid I leaked was tears.

I was sad about the Farmer being an alchoholic. I suspect from his violent temperament that his alchoholism results - at least in part - from a painful trauma when growing up. This sad series of probable but unmentioned events tainted the whole read for me. I have some sympathy for the wife, although she did pick this guy out of 3 and a half billion men on the planet.

The real villain is the farm hand Tom. He violated two boundaries in one go - his work contract (which almost certainly would have prohibited sexual relations in the workplace) and the sacred boundary between a man and his lactating wife.
