About the Author
Dr Andrew Lockie received his MC, Ch.B from Aberdeen University, and studied homeopathy at the Royal London Homeopathic hospital . He is currently a homeopathic physician in a private practice in Guildford, Surrey. He is a founder member of the Homeopathic Physician Teaching Group. His publications include THE WOMEN'S GUIDE TO HOMEOPATHY (Hamish Hamilton), THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO HOMEOPATHY and THE NATURAL DIET BOOK (Penguin, 1997).

I have read and used many Homeopathic books, but this is the best guide for family use I have seen. It covers the whole subject in depth, yet in an easy to read way, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to all classes of users.

The Family Guide to Homeopathy: The Safe Form of Medicine for the Future is definitely a useful addition for the home. Written in lay-man's terms, it covers many, many illnesses and diseases. This book will soon become happily dog-eared, and its clarity of description gives confidence to newcomers to homeopathy. As a doctor, Andrew gives safe guidelines when conditions become serious. Two other small but useful books are: Get Well Soon: A Guide to Homeopathic First Aid, and Homeopathy for Influenza (aude sapere) for the flu.

What a wonderful thing homeopathy is. Take a bit of a plant, put it in some alcohol. Dilute it with water until there is no trace of the original left. Dilute it more. And more. Read more
