Once again Erich von Daniken continues to question the established view and interpretation of Historical data, leaving the reader in no doubt that there are many interesting and curious alternatives. He does not hesitate to draw upon many sources of information including his own vivid imagination, to an extent that the reader can only enjoy the variety of questions posed in the text. Has the Great Pyramid been incorrectly attributed for so many years to the wrong builder? why would the Ancient Egytians build so many monuments so clearly attributed to the builder but with the Great Pyramid, constantly fail to declare the Pharoah in who's honour it was built. This book develops many wonderfully lucid theories and delivers many interesting facts not only related to the Pyramids, but those that have attempted to discover it's mysteries. Even to the extent that a current day conspiracy theory exists, to prevent the unravelling of the mystery. History buffs, Sherlock Holme addicts and anyone with an open mind will revel in the facts and ideas posed by this book. The only "sigh" being that the the 270 pages do not appear to be sufficient for such a detailed subject.
