Product Description

Product Description

When the mystical jewel The Eye of the Pharaoh is stolen from the Haunted Pyramid, Pharaoh Ramenha's world is plunged into chaos. The Eye must be found - and quickly - or Ramenha is a dead man! His friend Kaheb is accused of the theft by Ramenha's cunning uncle, Ahketnan, a man with his own ideas about who should be the next Pharaoh.

Kaheb has to clear his name, find the jewel and expose the real thief. Unfortunately for Kaheb, the thief has used the jewel to summon a deadly demon from beyond the grave to make sure Kaheb fails.

This thrilling story will captivate readers of all ages - as well as serving as the perfect introduction to the history of ancient Egypt.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great Roger Hurn story 28 Jun 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I loved this story. The writing is stylish, the humour is clever, the characters are well written and following the story with all its intriguing twists and turns makes reading rewarding.

There are so many Ancient Egypt stories out there but this one really is a cut above the rest.

I bought this book for my cousin who's studying Ancient Egypt at school, to try and give him something educational and a little fun. He absolutely loved it. Not only is the story exciting, it helps them get to grips with Ancient Egypt in what is an interesting and enthralling way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mummies Abound! 9 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
If your children are studying or like Ancient Egypt this is the book for them! Filled with mummies, tombs, ancient curses and evil aides Roger Hurn brings Ancient Egypt back to life in what is a brilliant children's story. Keeps them on their toes and guessing until the very end. Well worth the money!
