5.0 out of 5 stars open mind required 9 Nov. 2008
To start with, this book is about fifteen years old, but is so fascinating I think it should still be in print. I've not read a lot of material channelled from extraterrestrials, so I don't have a great deal to compare it with, but this is one of the BEST channeled books I have ever read, and still relevant to now, as it was to the nineties as it deals with some of the changes are planet may go through this century due to contact with our 'space neighbours'. I know this book will not appeal to everyone but only those with a special interest and I wholeheartedly recommend this book to them. It starts with the history of the different extraterrestrial races' involvement with our planet and what their purposes are now. It deals with those who are here to help us and those who want to hinder, and it has some very important messages about humanity using their discernment when it comes to reading channeled material and dealing with 'different beings'.I don't want to put anyone off, as this is a very positive and uplifting book and designed to alleviate fear through knowledge of these races, and what I really like about it is, is that it gives an overview of different races and not just one 'alien' point of view. You want to know what's out there?, then read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Carries weight, unlike other Channelled writings 16 Nov. 2008
I have problems with many books which are channelled and also many books purporting to describe the ET agenda. So many seem airy-fairy or unconvincing in some way or other, as if either the author or source is confused (such as "Bringers Of The Dawn").

This book stands out as an exception. While it goes into great detail on which ET civilisations seeded our planet (not of great interest to me, whether accurate or not ) it also provides insight into who is around now, and what they're up to.

It turns out that, not only are there positives and negatives around the planet, (positives the Pleiadeans, negatives the Zeta Reticulian Greys, for example ), but there is another categorisation - whether they come from "third density" worlds like Earth, or higher "fourth" & "fifth density" worlds.

What is most interesting is the description of beings incarnating on Earth who are highly advanced intellectually, but not spiritually and how the "good" allows such negatives to persist in order to test us, and further our own growth.

In a similar way there are evidently "fifth density negatives" - highly spiritually evolved, but negative ( a contradiction? ) who are also a great test for the peoples of Earth. Rev Moon & Jim Jones (Jonestown massacre ) are cited here.

The book actually warns us to use our God-given discrimination when listening to channels, as the bad guys are also channeling. One hallmark of a negative source is their attempt to instill defeatism on Earth - with the notion that we are doomed, either by climatic disasters, or ET colonisation. We are warned against such sources.

For 50+ years I have read with interest the intended-to-be-truthful non-fictional accounts of 20th/21st century visitors to this planet by 'extraterrestrials'. The various advanced means of propulsion employed by craft to traverse distances that seem to be vast by our society's contemporaneous standards ~ arouse much technical, engineering, scientific interest and admiration. It would seem that visits by persons or beings representative of many more than fifty (perhaps over a hundred) distinctly differing cultures, societies or races have been credibly reported and described in detail by 20th/21st century witnesses in many countries. Because of the resulting complexity of this very multi-faceted situation it is difficult to arrive at anything like a right understanding of what is really happening 'during our generation' as regards 'homo sapiens' interactions with persons whose home worlds are far from this solar system.
I was very surprised by this 1993 book of Gina Lake (republished without changes in 2011) ~ because of the astounding depth and sagacity of analyses of the 'patterns of thinking' and motivations for visitation to Earth by several of the most commonly sighted and interacted-with species of extraterresrial humanoids active on our world during our lifetime. Gina Lake is critically aware of the cautionary processes needed to arrive at an objective view; to avoid deceptions and not to overstate or fabricate untenable hypotheses. If you have already widespread reading in this subject area ~ then you will find the content of this book to be immensely illuminating and highly credible, not needlessly duplicating material from elsewhere. This book should be 'required reading' for all those with an active interest in exobiology and exopolitics ! Highly recommended, very readable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Open up your mind! 2 July 2014

This mysterious book is definitely my sort of thing.
I haven't finished it yet, though because i downloaded a SAMPLE of it, then also downloaded a few others.
I hadn't heard of Gina Lake before, but now have a few of her books on my Kindle.
She starts off by writing 'You won't like what you read about our origins' (or something to that effect).

I find the idea of beings on other planets/galaxies fascinating, and I am looking forward to reading more of this - I relished already what I'd read so far.
