Each of these tracks are good covers, some funny, some seriously odd,but all good. But whoever put this together ruined it by putting either before or after the track a snippet of an interview with the fab four, which just should not be there.

I bought this so I could copy odd tracks onto compilations to play in my car,for my sole use,but am finding it impossible, nobody wants to hear a fairground organ playing " in my life" and then John talkin about his favourite choc ice.

This is basically a mishmash of interviews wedged between some good, unusual covers.Which is a shame because there are two more volumes and i,m not sure i,ll be rushing out to buy these.Back in the sixties they said that at their peak The Beatles could have released an album of them farting and it would have charted, well guess what, here it is.

Inspired by a hooker 3 April 2011
By Richard
Format:Audio CD
Yes William Shatner was police officer Hooker long before he went into Outer Space and after critics had finished castigating him for daring to become a recording artist his version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds entered the *so bad its good* category.People now call it brilliant.
So this is what inspired the creation of what was meant as a One off but its now up to its 4th volume.
I love most Beatles covers though some I find unlistanable eg Wilson Pickett who screeches his way through Hey Jude.Unfortunately I have it about 4 times.
What makes these CDs is the snippets of conversation-some by the Beatles themselves and it follows the idea of Sgt Pepper and its continuity by using found sounds between the songs

Hi, everybody, this is John here. 29 Dec 2006
By Johnny Heering - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This CD features oddball versions of Beatles' songs. Many of them are "foreign" versions, with lyrics in Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Latin(!) and other languages. William Shatner's infamous version of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" is here, not surprisingly. There is a reggae version of "Come Together" by Desmond Dekker, which is quite good. There are three Beatles tunes played on fairground organ (sounds like the music you hear on a merry-go-round). "I Want to Hold Your Hand" played on sitar. "We Can Work It Out" barked by dogs. "Good Night" played on Moog synthesizer. And much more weirdness. One of the cool things about the CD is that the tunes are often preceded by quotes from the Beatles and others. For example, Paul will make a comment about the Beatles dressing up like policemen, and then "When I'm 64" performed by a policeman's choir will play. This is a fun CD which Beatlemaniacs should get a kick out of.
