The third book in the Exiles trilogy is no less funny than the first two. Rachel finally looses her air of total grubiness and self destruction when Phillipe, a charming boy from france comes to stay. All the sisters fall in love with this visitor, especially Ruth, who relises that this is her fourth love. To make it worse for Ruth she is in love with four people (one being a fictional character) all at the same time. Just in time Big Grandma relises the situation and expedition sets forth to cure Ruth of her plight. This book kept me laughing for hours, I still chuckle when I recall it.
