Product Description

In these interviews, Alan affirms his belief that the European Union is a fulfilment of the ancient prophecy of Daniel that the Roman Empire will be revived in the end times, right before the return of the Messiah. Dr. Reagan is the senior evangelist for Lion & Lamb Ministries and serves as the host of the ministry's television program, 'Christ in Prophecy' which is broadcast in America over the Daystar Television Network and across Europe on Christian TV. These three programs created quite a stir when they were broadcast, with tremendous viewer response, according to Dr. Reagan. He said: 'These were the most watched programs we ever put out on satellite and we had the biggest response since we started broadcasting.' An ex BBC Television man who bought the DVD said it should be shown on prime time TV so everyone would know these astonishing facts. Professionally filmed, this is a great scene-setter for church Bible study groups, home churches etc.

About the Director

Alan Franklin is a former newspaper editor in London, England, and is an astute observer of the European political scene. Most important, he views politics from a Biblical perspective and with a thorough understanding of end time Bible prophecy.

This DVD is essential viewing for anyone who wants an insight into what's really behind the EU. Makes for chilling viewing at times - Alan puts his views across in a really punchy, watchable way.

Alan Franklin 21 Jan 2009
By Maria Vargas - Published on Amazon.com
I attempted to understand Alan Franklin's DVDs. Alan Franklin trumpets a faulty premise: "I have often spoken about the rebirth of the Roman Empire in the form of The European Union, the superstate of 25 nations" is an old and repeated theme that has no biblical evidence and goes contrary to Scripture.

Franklin should heed the rebuke of Jamieson Fausset & Brown: "the ten toes are not upon the one foot (the west), as these interpretations require, but on the two (east and west) together, so that any theory which makes the ten kingdoms belong to the west alone must err."

Arnold Fruchtenbaum would be a better source, who discounts this hype "It has become common today to refer to the ten kingdoms as being in Europe only, especially the Former Common Market, now the European Union. But the text does not allow for this kind of interpretation. At the very best, the European Union might become one of the ten, but it could hardly become all of the ten." (Footsteps, page 36)

To exclude European nations as the only composite will not only minimize the extent of prophecy, but the volume of literal references of non-European nations destroyed on the Day of the Lord.

What about North Africa (biblical Phut) historically part of the western wing of the Roman Empire, and already mentioned literally in several end-times references.

Frankiln's DVD is way too expensive ($30.00) very tedious and hard to follow. It clearly was not well done. He only knows how to rehash someone else's arguments and offers nothing new except repeated error! This work clearly shows that he has convoluted reasoning and he misapplies scripture. Not only his books has sloppy proof-texting but this man actually fishes for verses and then takes those verses and applies them anywhere he wants even if it doesn't even apply to that verse! Franklin obviously has tortuous logic and he's only grasping at straws.
