This book contains EVERYTHING you will ever need to know about quilting. It starts with the history and basics of quilting techniques, and finishes with fabric choice and design. The text is a pleasure to read and all sorts of little tips and advice are contained right through the book. The design aspect of the book is extensive and covers all sorts of traditional and more contemporary designs and how to design patterns yourself. It also contains patterns which you can trace and use to mark up your own quilt. The photographs of quilts contained within this book are an inspiration to any-one contemplating starting a quilt. All-in-all, a wonderful, well written and inspirational book for quilters of all abilities.
