As a saxophone player with a special interest in Lester Young I found thid CD to give a good selection of his best recordings covering his recording history. Very good value both musically and historically.

Fantastic value for money 2 CDs priced under £8. Over two hours of music to feed the soul. Look at the playlist.... what can I say - for me this is a great double CD - worth every penny and a lot more.

This double CD brings back great memories of a youth spent listening to these superb musicians. Wonderful music played with consummate skill and feeling. A real treat. This collection of Lester Young tracks is a journey to a different time, when music reached into the soul.
