This is a beautiful book. It combines clear explanations of embroidery techniques with beautiful pictures (photographs and diagrams) of those techniques executed.
This book contains some projects for those who want to practice a particular technique, designs for those seeking inspiration and explanations for those of who are keen to acquire such knowledge. It covers the basics of embroidery as well as more advanced skills.
I have a number of similar books: each with its own particular charm and full of inspiration. While each one has its place on my shelves, this is one that I would be very, very reluctant to part with.
Highly recommended.
