Despite all the bad press and scaremongering around Aleister Crowley's work it is my opinion that he was in search of the truth and is probably the authority in the English language

Liber CDXVIII The Vision and the Voice is a detailed exploration of the thirty aethyrs from the Enochian system of magic as discovered and developed by Dr. John Dee and Edward Kelly. Aleister Crowley began investigating the aethyrs in Mexico in 1900, and then in Algeria during 1909 with Victor Benjamin Neuburg (1883-1940). Within these recorded visions is the important magical ordeal of `Crossing the Abyss' and the attainment of the grade of Magister Templi [Master of the Temple].
Also included in the book is Liber CCCXXV The Bartzabel Working, a ritual evocation of the spirit of Mars performed in 1910; Liber LX The Ab-Ul-Diz Working, a discourse with an intelligence in 1911 which led to the writing of the inspirational `Book 4'. Liber CDXV The Paris Working, sex magick performed in 1914 with his magical assistant, the poet, Victor Neuburg (Frater Omnia Vincam or Lampada Tradam). Also included are Crowley's fragmentary diaries for 1909 and 1910, together with detailed editorial notes and a full index. In fact, the book contains a wealth of new and invaluable material to any aspiring magician!

Absolute Necessity for Enochian Practitioners 12 May 2000
By "highpriestnc" - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I think this book should belong in the Library for all those whom practice the wondorous magick of the Enochiana. If you ever wondered what it was like traveling the Aetheyrs from TEX to LIL, then this book is un-equaled in it's class. If you ARE to travel the Aethyrs, this book gives each practitioner each of the necessary guide posts, that are unique to each Aethyr, that you should look for. It was well written, and gives you insight on what to expect and what you should avoid. On a side note, I think that you should find your own means of traveling to ZAX, pushing aside the rather dangerous method that is given in this book.

Liber 418 takes over where Dr. Dee and Mr. Kelly left off. One of the great works of Aleister Crowley. Put this on in your Shopping Cart, it's a long read, but worth every hour!

Great Book by Crowley 22 Feb 2008
By Brett A. Welschmeyer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book offers some major insight into his ritual of the 30 Aethyrs. It includes several other workings in much detail, and has so much symbolism in it just like the rest of his books. Check it out for a good read and valuable insight.
