After what seems like an eternity, I've just pre-ordered Season 2. Amazon says the release is due on 26th March 2012 - let's wait and see. I really hope so! Season 2 is where The Equalizer really found its feet and gave us some of the more memorable episodes like Memories of Manon and Counterfire. I have all Season 2 episodes recorded on VHS from around the early 90s when they were shown on Yorkshire TV for the second time. My recordings are 20 years old, and I still watch them. This truely superb TV show deserves the availability of DVD for all to see.
Update - 26 March 2012. Well, Amazon says it's on it's way. Apparently, it's in the post. Can't wait! Just hope the other two seasons will be released soon...

The Equalizer - Season Two [DVD]
Anyone who has the season 1 playback release will know it was slim cases in a card box. That is my favourite type of DVD Boxset packaging, but season 2 is the bookstyle packaging in a plastic case. I think opinions are really split as to which is the best, but both are great space savers. You get a booklet with this season 2 fabulous release with very long info on every episode. I have listed the episodes below and which discs they are on.

I'd forgotten how good this series was, tackling really dark subjects and featuring some brilliant actors. It's a little dated now ofcourse but those opening titles are iconic. Recommended!
