For anyone interested in modern literature -and modern poetry especially- this release must be the essential purchase of the year. Edited by Nick Gammage, it is a collection of essays by some of the most respected literary figures of today, the book is a moving tribute to the expansive genius of the late poet Ted Hughes. Ranging from personal recollections of the man and superbly profound essays on his works (many of his key poems are included), to a wonderful collection of new 'crow etchings' by his long-standing friend and artistic collaborator, Leonard Baskin. As a complimentary volume to the prose and poetic works of Hughes, this book is of immeasurable value, it will give both the general reader and (Hughes fans in particular) a greater insight into many already well-loved poems, and as a tribute to the greatest poet of this century it is a fitting and immortal literary epitaph. Incredible..........buy it now!!!
