I bought this book originally out of curiosity to read what Paul Harrison had to say about the myth, but the main reason is because I am Scottish and I naturally believe in the Loch Ness monster! Throughout the book, there are many different views and opinions, not always from Paul Harrison, but different people involved in the myth. After reading the book, you are able to take time and make up your mind about what you really believe. I would recommend this book for everyone, skeptics and believers alike. The book has no bias and is entirely true.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and will dip into it often in the future. Whether interested in Crypozoology or just with a fascination for this part of Scotland, you're sure to be entertained by this well-researched book. You may even be converted into a Monster-hunter!

I often use this book to target specific information on certain cases or personalities. It is often not enough to consult other books as they may miss out something, but Paul's book often adds flesh to the bones.

BTW, Paul, can you contact me at shimei123@yahoo.co.uk as I have a question about the 1994 land sighting you briefly mention!

This is a rather tedious and uncritical catalogue of who did what/when/why. Harrison omits mentioning the criticism others (inc. me) have made of various claims. So it won't answer the mystery of Loch Ness. To do that you need to read my book: The Loch Ness Monster: The Evidence.
