I bought this book originally out of curiosity to read what Paul Harrison had to say about the myth, but the main reason is because I am Scottish and I naturally believe in the Loch Ness monster! Throughout the book, there are many different views and opinions, not always from Paul Harrison, but different people involved in the myth. After reading the book, you are able to take time and make up your mind about what you really believe. I would recommend this book for everyone, skeptics and believers alike. The book has no bias and is entirely true.

This is in every sense of the word an 'Encyclopaedia' of the Loch Ness Monster. It is a much needed guide to the enigma. Packed with loads of new information, sightings et al it will take pride of place amongst my Loch Ness collection.

Paul Harrison has written an easy-to-use guide to the Loch Ness Monster, the people that search for them, and the researchers who write about them. The book is a must addition to the library of anyone intrigued by the mystery of Loch Ness, and due to become a sought-after classic in cryptozoology. Highly recommended.--Loren Coleman, coauthorCryptozoology A to Z: The Encyclopedia of Loch Monsters, Sasquatch, Chupacabras, and Other Authentic Mysteries of Nature
