Product Description

Acid Jazz Records' latest signing, Birmingham quartet The Elements, spent three weeks in the top ten of the indie charts with their fantastic debut single Caught In A Storm earlier in the summer.
The band, who feature sometime Ocean Colour Scene members Andy Bennett and Tim Jaques, supported The Inspiral Carpets at the Shepherds Bush Empire, Paul Weller in Birmingham and Ocean Colour Scene on tour and have added a whole host of gigs and radio sessions to launch the forthcoming album, titled simply The Elements, due for release at the beginning of October.
Recorded at the tail end of 2007, the eponymous debut album continues in the great brumbeat rock tradition - a classic mix of fierce guitars, a thunderous rhythm section and sweet vocal harmonies (one of the band's hallmarks).

I was lucky enough to have been given a copy of this record and must say it is a fantastic debut album from one of the best live acts I have ever seen. Caught in a Storm the opening track really sets the stall for the album a real rock and roll song. Holding Out really capures The Elements live act with both sound and energy. Deep Freeze video is on youtube. A Part of my Life and Everything to me are also favorites on the record. The album finishes with Three Wish Genie also on YouTube but the version on the album is full band and a lot sharper and better sounding. All in all a fantastic record you will not be dissapointed... Buy It.

This is a brilliant debut from The Elements. Will definitely be going to see this lot live soon!

Opening track in particular is superb, but not a weak track anywhere.

Cocked up and clicked on 4 stars. Should be 5 star + . Sorry boys.

Just bought this album on recommendation from a friend and haven't stopped playing it yet. I love my indie rock type stuff and every song is a joy.

Do yourself a favour and go and buy this album and support some grass roots home grown talent.
