A fascinating and revealing portrait of Prince Philip. Well worth a read for a more balanced and in-depth view of the man who often only rates a mention in the media for his so-called (often misquoted and out of context) gaffes.
What emerges is a man who has contributed, not only through his establishment of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, but in his support for countless other projects which benefit the community. His military and sporting achievements and his deep interest in religion and philosophy paint him as much more than just the Queen's husband.
