Why Choose This Book

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is one fascinating woman. Her being Prince Charles’ mistress and lover for more than three decades is what lends color to her life. This book is an objective view of Camilla, whose relationship with the Prince of Wales ruined his marriage as well as her own.

What’s Inside

Little is known of Camilla, mainly because she’s a woman who doesn’t like telling everyone about every single detail of her life, including her high-profile relationship with Charles. This book shows you details of her life, including:

• Her illustrious ancestors, who were also mistresses and lovers of kings
• Her first and only job
• The sassy line Camilla allegedly told Charles upon meeting him
• What she was like when she was a young woman
• Why Camilla married Andrew Parker Bowles instead of Charles
• The woman who Camilla saw as more threatening than Diana
• What the Camilla Campaign is, and more details in the book!

Table Of Contents

Chapter 1 – Charmed Childhood
Chapter 2 – On Her Own
Chapter 3 – Boy Magnet
Chapter 4 – Between Two Lovers
Chapter 5 – Losing Charles

Why Buy Now

Despite Camilla’s role in the breakup of Charles and Diana’s marriage, one can’t help admiring the woman for enduring all indignities for her love for Charles. She knew she wasn’t as beautiful as Diana, but she was the one that Charles had always turned to. She was the woman he wanted to be with, and in their desire to be with each other, their marriages to their respective spouses crumbled. Read this book now and find out what Camilla has gone through in the name of love.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a disapointment 12 Feb 2013
By Janjo
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I was looking forward to reading this as I find the Duchess of Cornwall to be a fascinating woman, however, it was a total disappointment. The book is incredibly badly written, and I could have done a better job myself.
Before I retired I used to proof read assignments for Dyslexic degree students, this would have had red ink all over it if it had been submitted to me.
Apart from the grammar, the research just isn't there.
It is just a poor retelling of already known facts.
Shame on whoever published this utter nonsense as a serious book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Camilla's story 28 Jan 2013

Whilst the facts may be accurate and less biased than in the past,it would have made a better book if the proof reading had been of a more professional standard. If only publishers realized that sloppy proofreading can spoil a book, then maybe things might change

3.0 out of 5 stars A little bit disappointing 25 Nov 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It has not come up to my expectations. It is written in note form, which slightly spoilt it for me. I also got the feeling (Probab;y incorrectly) that he author is biased against HRH Princes's happiness. I know the Press have to twist things and exaggerate to sell papers - but i do wish they would remember that both of their children are still living and need to be allowed to move on and not be constantly asked to judge their parents They will almost certainly make mistakes in their lives - we all do.

Just like the other book on the Duchess of Cambridge, my comments do not differ. rubbish.
Research must be done before a book is written.

2.0 out of 5 stars A nothing new book! 26 Oct 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I hoped I would gain an insight into the early years and family background of Camilla's family life but what I read I already knew! Little in depth research had been done. What was written was from an American viewpoint. A poor read.

1.0 out of 5 stars What happened to grammar? 21 April 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I was hoping to read about a couple,(who had been in love for many years) overcome the public's opinions but unfortunately my 11yr old granddaughter could have written it better.
The grammar was awful & spoilt the story. I have always believed that they should have married many years ago but the portrayal in this book leaves a lot to be desired.

What rubbish. Most of this came from the newspapers, with no insight into the subject apart from what the Daily Mail would have printed at the time, and we all know how reliable that would be. I don't think anyone proof read it as words are missing, and many sentences simply don't make sense at all.

It is a sinical attempt and throwing something together to make a quick pound or two.

Personally I admired the subject, and wanted to know something of her background, other than what the tabloids may have printed.
