Wonderful book! 21 Nov 2008
Format:Hardcover
Living in a Mediterranean area and finding a total lack of suitable plants for sale in the nurseries, has made me more and more interested in getting gardening in this climate right. I have read or bought all available books on the subject and this is the best by far. The research is thorough, plants well explained and beautifully photographed. Anyone gardening responsibly in a mediterranean climate needs to own this wonderful book.

This is a fantastic book and I'm constantly referring to it. It's full of practical advice and beautiful photographs, and it's inspired me to transform my garden in Spain. I was doing everything wrong - buying all the wrong plants and trying to force them to survive by watering them. Now, thanks to Olivier Filippi, I know better and my garden is beginning to look gorgeous thanks to his advice and his plants.

Excellent!... 15 Feb 2009
Format:Hardcover
I live on one of the Greek Islands and I'd read a great review of this book in the Athens News, and as I'd like to create a non-water dependant garden, I decided to purchase it...
What an excellent book this is!
There is comprehensive advice as well as a huge choice of plants listed by the author.
There are great photographs as well which compliments the informative text to inspire and encourage you to create a beautiful garden that doesn't require constant summer watering. For anyone living in a dry, sunny climate I'd thoroughly recommend this book...5 star!
