I have only recently discovered Michael Robotham. He knows how to create edge of your seat suspense while creating sympathetic, believable characters. Two difficult to put down stories.

Michael Robotham is one of the very best authors around. A lovely style, realistic without being gory, gets inside the characters who are by no means perfect. It is better to start with The Suspect as this is the first book and although they are complete entities and complete in their own right, have characters that run in a thread throughout his books - although Bombproof is generally a 'stand alone.' I love Robotham's books, he is head and shoulders above most thriller writers. One of my favourite authors, read one and you will want to buy all of his books. I buy them now as soon as the are printed.....which isnt often enough!

I bought Michael Robotham's latest book Say You're Sorry and enjoyed it so much I decided to start with his first book. He tells a very good story, plot develops well and just enough personal details of character's lives, thoroughly recommend

Fantastic story in the Drowning Man - haven't got to Bombproof yet. Terrible suspense but I also laugh out loud at Robotham's prose.
