Well , what could I say? I realy didn't know what is a short tales book befor I read this one...
In a short story book you can't relate to the charecters as good as you can with a good long one. especially with a dragonlance book...
Good dragonlance books such as Richard A.Knaaks "The Legend Of Huma"(which is the best dragonlance book i've ever read) are the king of books that should be created for the Dragonlance world.
This book inclueds some good tales (Funny, full of action) but again its hard to relate to the charecters because the story is ended very quikly.
But the thing that was most iritating about this book was that the storys were not all about dragons as I thought at first when I perchased it. You get pretty interesting stories of gnomes, minotaurs ,humans and dwarves but never the story is focusing on the dragons like I wished it should be...

All in all I kinda enjoyed this book after all... even though it wassn't like all the other books I read in the dragonlance world. It is good for itself hope you will enjoy it better than I have!

I found this collection of short stories and poems to be an enjoyable read. Just make sure you know that this is just edited by the Weis and Hickman, not written by them. If you want something to read during short breaks, and do not want worry about the continuity of a story, pick up this book. Some of the stories are just great.

Getting to Know the Dragons 12 Jun 2000

Here's a collection of Dragon stories. Some very good, some just so-so. Interesting pieces include "The Final Touch", "The Best", "Kaz and the Dragon's Children", "Dragon Breath", "The Middle of Nowhere." "The First Dragonarmy Bridge..." introduces us to the pitiful draconian brigade whom one will meet in greater detail in "The Doom Brigade". Some of the stories end abruptly ("Into the Light" is one) while I find "Honor..." a bit tiresome to read. The rest of the stories are worth reading. All in all, this is a good book to get acquainted with the most popular and most awesome creatures in Krynn - dragons.

The Majesty and Horror of the Elder Race 25 Oct 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This book offers a diverse look at both the good and the bad of the most ancient and mythical creatures: Dragons. From the most honorable to the most cunningly evil, they are here, and you will love it. Great for new fans and those searching for more of Krynn's history!

This book is a must for anyone reading the Dragonlance series. Not only does it relate most of the dragon history of Krynn it also talks about other histories. I would have to say that I learned more from this book than any other book in the series.
