About the Author
Philip Ardagh is a tall, hairy man (his nickname is Beardy!) who loves ice cream and hates salt and vinegar crisps. When he's not enjoying life with his wife and son by the seaside, he's writing award-winning children's books, including the Eddie Dickens adventures. He is one of this year's World Book Day authors, featuring his Grubtown Tales book: The Great Pasta Disaster. It was with this series that he won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. He lives in Tunbridge Wells.
