Sadly the card stock for this product is little more than heavy paper... I would never be able to seriously use these cards without worrying about them being damaged. A shame they spend money on the book and box.. then got cheap for the cards

As the previous reviewer said these cards are little more than shiny paper and will not stand any serious use. Also it's a 'pip' deck, only the major arcana is illustrated, which is really only suited to an experienced reader who would want a sturdier deck.

The combination of flimsy card stock and pip only suits makes for an expensive mis-match that I've already eBayed.

Beautiful, yet flimsy 26 July 2010
By Shadow Breaker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
While the card backings, trump cards and major arcana have beautifully rendered pictures the lower cards have only simple illustrations. The 3 wands for instance and no other markers to help you identify the card, so if you are a beginner this deck may not be the best one for you. The actual cards are huge so if you have small hands they are hard to shuffle. You also need to keep in mind that these cards are extremely thin for your average deck so you need to be extra careful not to damage it.

The deck is beautiful, although I am still really undecided how much I am in love with it. I would have rated it 3 stars if I had not liked the illustrations of the arcana so much.

A Tarot Deck to stimulate your imagination! 10 Jan 2012
By Ruby Blackbird Carpenter - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
These cards are beautiful. They feel like regular playing cards. Although a bit longer and wider than regular playing cards, they are actually slightly smaller than the other two tarot decks I have. I really enjoy the medieval/fantasy nature of the cards.

BEAUTIFUL 2 May 2014
By Zabora - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
These are my favorite Tarot deck. I have had them for a few years and find they tend to tell me what I need to know more than say what I asked...The card stock is relatively thin and the cards are a bit large and make it hard to fast shuffle but I still love them. I am vary gentle with them so they have stayed nice over the years vary little wear and tear to them and I use them regularly.
