4.0 out of 5 stars What a difference 26 Jun 2001
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I loved this book, I like to buy most time travel romance books that have a good rating but this one I was drawn to by the cover page, (strange I know) so to say the least this book had quite a few different twist to the story, most time travel romances only covers one person that take the leap, but this one takes six. So this makes a big change, as the story is no longer set by two characters. When a small village is thrown from the world and is to hover in nothing, they lose heart in the laird to return them back to Scotland they remember their only hope are the unsuspecting travellers that they have pulled from time to help they solve the mystery. Not only do they village have to wait and wondering if they will ever return, but they also have to watch out for the flying visitor, it take just one man to bring this small village some peace but will it last. All I can say is read and enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Dragon Hour by Connie Flynn 24 Mar 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is a wonderful book! Fabulous and informative descriptions of life in Scotland in the 1600's; and better yet, three-dimensional portraits of some of the most flawed but endearing characters I've ever met in a book. The characters are so true to their hearts you forgive their bumbling errors, and rejoice in their triumphs. When you finish the book, you're left with the warm and wonderful feeling you've made new friends. I became an avid Connie Flynn reader with "Shadow on the Moon" and Shadow of the Wolf." This one is even better.

5.0 out of 5 stars I hate romance books with a passion... but this was great! 14 April 2000

Luke Slade travels through time to an ancient midevil Scottish castle to meet a strong woman who he will eventaully fall in love with. With the mixture of epic battles, midevil dragons, weopans, and a bit of modern guns and uzi, this book is great for everyone. A modern man must choose between his nephews life and his new love, a strong politician in her time. He also must decide whether to face a dragon or to fae his own small life.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Dragon Hour 24 Mar 2000
By D. Speers - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I love the characters in this book. They were not perfect or cliche but true to their individual backgrounds and time period. The premise is out of the ordinary when it comes to "time travel" novels. After reading this book, I hope the author decides to do another sequel. I want to know if they ever get out of the time bubble and what happens to Ian and the other citizens of this magical place.
